Mermaid Canvas

Hey everyone, here is something that I made recently for my scrapbook space.  So technically, this is a bit of a Workspace Wednesday post.  I found a beautiful mermaid canvas on YouTube from Gabrielle Pollacco's channel and I just had to make one myself.  Luckily, I was able to pick up almost all of my supplies from Wal-Mart, which means it was fairly cheap (compared to the more expensive scrapbooking items) and I had less leftover products to sit around my space,  I've included links to Gabrielle's original two videos below so you can see her process, as well as how to make the mermaid out of clay if you are interested in making your own product.  Thanks so much for watching.  There are photos below the videos if you are interested.  I broke it into two parts since it was so long!

Geometric Banner Tutorial Video Plus Photos

It is once again Workspace Wednesday and I wanted to share with you the fun, colorful and easy addition that I recently put up (about an hour ago!) in my scrap space!

I just want to start out by saying that 75% of what I do or show tutorials on, I have gathered ideas from other places--I put my own twist on things or go into details about my process or change it up in some way.  Honestly, most of the ideas that I love I just want to re-create and share with you guys, whether it's lifting a scrapbook page, making a mini album or doing some other random project.  A lot of times the reason that I make a video or a tutorial is because I can't find detailed enough information on my own.  So I decide to show you guys my process and what worked for me.  And I always try to credit my source when I'm showing you a direct idea that I got from someone.  So, with that long caveat, I want to share with you my latest project that I found on Dear Lizzy's blog!

Isn't that banner adorable?  I love it! Here is the cut file As I say in the video, I was kind of stumped on how to put the geometric balls together.  My brain just does not work that way!  And I couldn't find any instructions, so I decided to make a tutorial (after my husband showed me how to put them together lol).  So, here is my quick tutorial.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!  Below are the (terribly lit) photos of my finished project hanging in my scrapbook room above my cork board.  Thanks so much for watching and I will see you again soon!

A Couple of Card Videos

Today I'm going to share with you a couple of cards that I made a while back that I haven't gotten to share with you before now.  I only took a picture of one of them, so my apologies in advance!  Thanks so much for watching!
