Hey everyone! I'm here to wrap up my week of Valentine's Day cards! This card uses the Science of Love stamp set from Lawn Fawn again. I just got a new camera and I'm trying to figure it out so bear with me for a few days! There is one point in the video that got cut out, but you will see there is an embossed panel and I used a brick patterned embossing folder that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. The distress ink color is fired brick and I just use a regular make-up sponge to add color. This is not as perfect as using the ink blender by Tim Holtz, but it does the trick, especially if you use a light hand. I hope you enjoy the video!
Tomorrow I will be posting my Project Life from Week Three and next week I have an exciting announcement for any book lovers out there so stay tuned!

Heidi Swapp Mini Album Process Video
I really wanted to start on my new Heidi Swapp mini album but I couldn't think of an overall theme for the book. But then I saw Studio Calico's Sunday Sketch and I immediately felt inspired by those stars! I knew this was the kick in the pants that I needed to get started on that mini album! I used a picture of my dad and I'm thinking the theme for the album might be family, but I could still go in a different direction, I just have to make sure Dad fits into the theme, haha! I'm thinking about maybe using the Studio Calico sketch as a jumping off point for most of the pages in the album, but I'll just have to see what they have in store next week! I hope you enjoy the video and there's a photo below.
Love You Tons Card Process Video
I'm here today with another Valentine's Day card and this time I used the "Love You Tons" stamp set and matching dies from Lawn Fawn. I hope you enjoy the video! Below is a photo of the finished card.

Runway Inspired Challenge Card #52 Process Video
Hey everyone! Here's a non-Valentine's Day themed card for you this week. I recently discovered the Runway Inspired Challenge! They provide a photo of a runway look and you can design a card based on the inspiration! Here's the inspiration photo:
I liked the soft yellow and pink with the pops of color in the dress and I drew some inspiration for those orange-red shoes as well! I played with gelatos to get the soft, almost watercolor effect and then added some bright embossing colors! Here's my take on this look:
And here's a process video showing you how it all came together! Enjoy! And if you have any questions or if you liked the video, please leave me a comment! Thanks!
Three tips:
1. When you are rubbing the gelato around, be careful because the paper can sometimes bend if you go to fast.
2. Don't be afraid to layer the gelato on slowly. You can always add more!
3. Be careful with the water, especially if you are not using watercolor paper.

You Plus Me Card Process Video
Hey everyone! I am here today with another Valentine's Day card using the "Science of Love" stamp set from Lawn Fawn! This is a basic card that I loved putting together! After the video I realized that I forgot to add some sparkle to the nerdy birds' glasses. I used a Sakura Gelly Roll glitter pen to outline the two pairs of glasses and I included a close-up photo below so you can see! Thanks for watching and if you have any questions please feel free to ask me!

Heidi Swapp Bookmark Process Video
Hey everyone! I'm still so pumped about the new Heidi Swapp stuff! I can't wait to try more of her ink pads and her new cards look pretty cool too! But then again, a lot of new stuff has come out since CHA was just a few weeks ago and I've been eyeing and buying so stay tuned for a couple of videos soon reviewing some of the purchases I've made from the new lines!
Here is a bookmark that I made using watercolor paper, white embossing powder and watercolors. You can play around with the watercolors and get the look that you want. My paper was still curling up just a bit so I glued it onto a piece of cardstock and it is holding up well. I hope you enjoy the video and if you have any questions please ask in the comment section! Below are a couple of photos of the finished bookmark and another one that I made while I was playing around with my new watercolors!

Tops In My Book Card Process Video
This week I'm going to show you some Valentine's Day cards that I made with some Lawn Fawn stamp sets called "Science of Love" and "Love You Tons." I thought these two sets and the matching dies were super cute so these are the ones I decided to purchase to make some cute cards this year. The card for today would be a quick and easy one to put together for a child's Valentine's party or for a child's teacher.
I use colored pencils and low-odor thinner that I purchased at Wal-Mart in the art supply aisle. This product smooths out the pencil lines. I showcase this product in another video this week and will be making a tutorial soon so you can see the pros and cons of using this technique. Thanks for watching and if you have any questions or comments please let me know! I will answer them as soon as I can! Below is a photo of the finished card.

Project Life Process Video--Week 2
Hey everyone! Here is my first Project Life process video so that you can see how I do PL. I'm a couple weeks behind but I hope to be posting my week on the blog every Saturday, so we'll see how it goes! The narration is a little quiet on the video so you might have to turn the volume up. I hope you enjoy the video! Below I included a couple of photos as well.

Thanks Card Process Video using new Heidi Swapp!
As promised, here is a card using one of the new Heidi Swapp stamp sets that I purchased at Michael's. I used up a ton of thank you cards over Christmas and this set was perfect for re-stocking my cards. At the end of the video my battery died as I was assembling the pieces, but there is a picture below the video of the finished product. Thanks for watching!

Best Wishes Card Process Video
Hey everyone! This card is a very simple one, quick and easy to put together especially if you are running low on time or supplies. The label I used is just one that I had from an old Studio Calico class that I took. Sometimes you can find similar labels in the kit or you can purchase them as a digital download from the Studio Calico store. They usually have something similar, just in a different color scheme.
As you can see in the video I struggle and finally fail at making a bow, but give it a shot if you have more coordinated fingers than I do!

New Heidi Swapp Stuff!
Hi everyone! I've been watching videos and stalking Instagram to see the new stuff that's been coming out at CHA last week and I have been so excited! I know I am not the only person excited about the new Albums Made Easy Card Cabinet and Sleeve Shelve by We R Memory Keepers!! I am definitely big on Project Life and I could use more storage so I cannot wait for that to come out, along with so much stuff from so many other companies. Let's just say I better start saving my pennies!
So after I was done drooling over the new stuff I made my way to Michael's. My store is about 45 minutes away from me, so I go there about once a month, sometimes less. I was just going in to pick up some basics so imagine my surprise when I see brand new Heidi Swapp stuff! Yes, I had no idea she was coming out with anything right now! Shame on me! I picked up a few things and thought you might want to see them up close. My store did not have the Memory Planner or the 12x12 paper pad so I didn't get to see those. But I only had one coupon so I guess that was for the best. Like I said in the video, I don't plan on sharing many haul videos, but since this was brand new product I thought you would be interested!

Hi Card Process Video
Hey everyone! I am still working out my video/upload/edit/youtube/blog process and schedule so I'm sorry this video is a bit late! Thank goodness for my nerdy husband because I could never do this without his help! But I think we have finally figured out what works for us and I have made several videos lately that are just waiting to be edited and posted so hopefully I can get caught up this weekend! Thanks for the views of my previous video and I hope you enjoy this one! And although normally I won't post on weekends, I will try to put up the next card video on Sunday.
This card was made entirely from the Studio Calico Copper Mountain kit! Thanks for watching!
Here is a photo of the finished card.

Copper Mountain Kit Video
I made a video sharing the latest card kit and Project Life kit from Studio Calico. I have subscriptions to these and thought that others might like to see what comes in the kit and also what a regular scrapper thinks about the kits! I also have a few process videos coming soon that will show you how I make my cards, step-by-step! Enjoy!

First Post!
Obviously this is my first blog post, but I just wanted to throw something up here so that people who stop by will know what this is all about. Primarily, I want this blog to be about scrapbooking. I do Project Life, traditional layouts and cards and I will share some product reviews and challenges as well as process videos.
My interests are wider than just scrapbooking and I don't want to leave anything out! So I will post about books that I'm reading, DIY projects, things that are going on around my home, and just other stuff in general! I want this to really be a diverse blog that represents me as a person, with an emphasis on the scrapbooking side! I do have some videos that I recorded and I'm working on getting them blog ready and I cannot wait to share them! So for today I am creating my blog!
